Sam’s Club Tempe Grand Opening: Scan & Go Experiential Activation

Sam’s Club launched its Tempe location with a high-energy experiential activation designed to introduce Scan & Go, the brand’s in-app scan-as-you-shop checkout. The grand opening transformed the feature into a fast-paced, competitive challenge where members raced through real products while climbing a live leaderboard.

Live performances, music, interactive games and community programming turned the opening into a destination event, creating an immersive retail experience that demonstrated how Scan & Go makes shopping faster and easier while driving membership adoption.

Scope
Led concept, design and execution of the Sam’s Club Tempe Grand Opening activation. Built an interactive microsite from scratch that simulated the Scan & Go app, enabling guests to experience the checkout flow through a live challenge.
